Chad Gallagher, Principal

Chad has vast experience in government and politics at both the state and local level.  Chad is the former mayor of De Queen, Arkansas where he successfully utilized the grant and appropriation process  to secure millions of dollars in funding for community projects.  As the nation's youngest mayor at the time he was immediately recognized for his hard work.  He also served on the executive committee of the Arkansas Municipal League.  For the last several years Chad has served in key positions in the Governor's office in the State of Arkansas. 

His last post in state government was as the Director of The Tobacco Control Board, a statewide agency and he previously served as the governor's Director of Intergovernmental Affairs.  He was responsible for advising the governor on a vast array of issues. In this capacity he oversaw relations with city, county and local governments, the White House, the state's Washington DC office, the Southern Governor's Association, National Governor's Association, Council of State Governments, and the Southern Growth Policy Board, as well as others.  Chad also handled relations with  political organizations such as the Republican Governor's Association, national, state and local party organizations, political action committees, political candidates and his counterparts in state governments across the nation.  While serving the Governor Chad was also responsible for the appointment of individuals to state boards and commissions, advising the Governor on these appointments. 

During Governor Huckabee's second term between 2003-2007 Chad was responsible for overseeing the strategy room during legislative sessions.  This included helping navigate the governor's legislative package through the general assembly, working with members of the legislature, detailed legislative analysis of bills and policy proposals and managing the intricate details of how a bill becomes a law.

Gallagher continues to serve as an advisor to former Governor Huckabee.

Gallagher earned his bachelor of arts degree in political science and history from Ouachita Baptist University. He enjoys duck hunting, fishing, reading and spending time with his wife of ten years, Jessica and their three children Hannah, Grace and Ethan.
